The USS Arizona memorial, the Desert Botanical Garden and the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix, Meteor Crater, the Route 66 Museum in Kingman, the Salt River Canyon on US-60, white-water rafting on the Colorado and the Salt, the Phoenix Art Museum and the Heard , Taliesin West, and on and on.
Petroglyph hikes are a good way to get out in the real world and get a connection with the history that surrounds us in Arizona.
